Do you travel outside of your base in Dublin?
Absolutely – having travelled 4,000 miles to the Middle East for a St Patrick’s Day Ball, your wedding in Cork or Galway is a mere hop down the road. The good news is that most wedding venues in Leinster will fall into the same price bracket as Dublin.

How long is your set?
We play from 9-12 with one 20-minute break coinciding with the serving of your evening refreshments, while the DJ plays up to 2am. We arrive an hour beforehand, and as soon as the hotel staff start preparing the room after the meal and speeches, we start our set up.

Do you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our guitarist/sound engineer is our resident DJ. All the additional DJ equipment is set up during the band’s set, so there won’t be any additional rigging required towards the band’s final set. He has a huge range of songs so please don’t hesitate to ask him to play your favourite tunes on the night.

Do you use backing tracks?
No, Rewind are a fully-live band, comprising male/female vocals, keyboards, lead guitar, bass guitar and drums. Four of the five members also sing meaning great harmonies and variety of vocal styles are a strong feature of the band. We are also always mindful of sound levels!

Where can we see you play?
We occasionally play showcase events during the year (these will always be advertised on our home page); however, we prefer you to come see us at a wedding as you’ll get the exact idea of how the night runs. We’ll always ask the couple’s permission in advance, so never feel that you are “gatecrashing”.

What kind of music do you play?
Our varied set includes everything from pop classics (Abba/Tina Turner), rock ‘n’ roll (Elvis/Beatles), Irish (Sawdoctors/Mundy) to current chart music (Lady Gaga/Kings of Leon). We also have a selection of swing songs, jives and waltzes. If there’s a particular song or genre of songs you want in or out, please do tell us and we’ll be delighted to oblige. We also have a list of first dance suggestions on our playlist; however, we’re always happy to learn a new song for you once you give us notice.

What venues have you played?
As one of Ireland’s busiest wedding bands, we’ve played in most of the top venues around the country – from glorious castle settings to 5* city centre hotels, so we’re familiar with many quirks regarding access points, top table setup, sound delimiters, timings etc.

Once you’ve decided to book the band, you will receive a booking form by email. Once this has been returned along with the agreed deposit, you will receive a receipt and the date will be 100% confirmed for you. As we often receive multiple enquiries for the same date, we unfortunately can’t take provisional bookings, so our fair and transparent policy is that the band is secured for a wedding once the booking form and deposit are received.
